Meet the Paper Element's Design Team
A group of highly talented individuals from literally all over the world, our Design Team were selected for their ability to create amazing layouts, cards and projects.
This team will serve from July 2008 through January 2009. Click on each member's name to go to their gallery and see what they've been doing with The Paper Element's paper, cardstock stickers, and rub-ons, and watch the online gallery every month for new projects they've created!
My name is Kimberlee Croucher and I am 32 and am from North Central PA... right near the home of the Little League World Series. I have a wonderful hubby of 11 plus years and two great kiddos... my darling daughter Emily who is 9 and my energetic little man Josh who is 5. I teach preschool by day so at the end of a day packed with the under 5 set, my sanity comes from scrapping. I love getting the chance to create art with paper and also create a keepsake for future generations to treasure. I am so excited and honored to be a part of The Paper Element Design Team!
I'm 25 years old and have no kids yet, but still some cute nephews and nieces to scrapbook. I'm French, living in Saint-Louis, very near to Switzerland and Germany (so I'm a real European girl ;) ). I have been scrapping for about 3 years now. I started when my godson was born, because I had lots of pictures of him and wanted to preserve them in a nice way. I really love being creative with scrapbooking, card making, quilting or sewing. I'm so honored to be a part of this new Design Team and can't wait to get started...
I have been married to my wonderful husband for 16 years now, and we have an adorable wild and crazy 4 year old son. He is my main scrapping subject. I started scrapping in March of 2007, and it has been a whirlwind since then. My growth as a scrapper has just taken off! I have to say, so has the loss of money to our bank account!! Did I say I "have" to have all the latest and greatest scrapping supplies? I am so in love with this form of art. I say art because that is exactly what it has become to me. I scrap for the memories of my son and family, but this is a way for me to leave a little bit of "me" behind for them. I have no idea where this crazy ride is going to take me, but all I can say is .... I'm not getting off any time soon!!
Hey there...my name is Sasha Holloway and I have been officially scrappin' for 2 years. I don’t follow the rules. I just have fun with this hobby. I love to use color and try new things. I have two beautiful children, Elijah and Desman. My fabulous hubby and I are both active duty Air Force, and we love to travel. I have literally traveled and lived all over the world. I just completed my Master’s, so now I can write, scrap and create all over the place and leave behind art my kids can laugh and smile at later.
Hi! I’m Cheryl from Madison, Wisconsin. I’m an engineer turned stay-at-home mom to a beautiful three-year-old girl. I’m married to Jason, also an engineer, and we have a purebred Persian cat, Belle. I’ve been scrapbooking for six years and my hobby has grown to include stamping, papercrafts, altered items, and photography. I love learning new techniques, participating in challenges and online crops. My favorite topics to scrapbook are my daughter and my travels around the world. My other hobbies include gardening, travel, yoga, and Pilates.
Hello! My name is Susan and I’m from Singapore. I started scrapping a couple of years ago and fell in love with this meaningful hobby because it allowed me to record and preserve memories for my family in a manner that appealed to the creative side of me. I love experimenting with different scrapbooking styles and trying new techniques on my layouts and altered art. I find inspiration from my family and the myriad of scrapbooking supplies available. I’m truly excited to be on the first design team for The Paper Element and look forward to having fun with the new collections.
I have been scrapbooking since Mrs. Grossman stickers were IT! My best friend opened a scrapbooking store in 2005, and I was happy to design layouts for the store, with not much thought of venturing outside of the store, until last year! Since then, I have designed product and was the project lead to create a stamping idea book for Pine Cone Press. I've been published several time in online e-zines and will have my first magazine layout featured in September. I have also been a guest designer for Paper Trunk and Tickled Pink Kits. I hope to have my challenge blog launched too, by the end of June-"The Story Matters"!
When not scrapbooking, I am busy chasing after my two 5 year olds and my seven year old. I am on the leadership team of a local moms ministry and an active volunteer at my children's school and at our church. I have been married for 8 years, but my husband and I have been best friends for 23 years.
Hi, my name is JJ, and I live in Montreal, Quebec. My husband André and I were married in 2001, in a costumed, Renaissance wedding. We have a 3-year-old son named Liam. He is the reason that I started scrapbooking. We have a baby girl on the way, so I’m looking forward to using some pink!
Thanks to both my Grandmothers, I’ve been crafting in one form or another since I was big enough to hold a crayon. (Sewing was my biggest obsession, still love it). I mostly scrap 12x12, but I dabble in other
formats. My style would best be described as ‘eclectic’ – some days I’m very clean and simple, other days – not so much. By day I’m an accountant so scrapping satisfies the other side of my brain. My other
big addiction is Starbucks.

I have admired TPE products since happening upon the booth at CHA Chicago – summer 2007. I love the rich texture and patterns of the papers, and am loving the coordinating cardstock stickers and rub-ons available. The two sided papers are absolutely perfect for creating with The Paper Element acrylic albums.
I began scrapbooking 5 yrs. ago this November. I quilted prior to this, and I am a graphic artist by trade. Scrapbooking was a natural fit that includes things I love most: color, patterns, photography and writing. Although I have done many types of crafts over the years, I have done no other since I found the passion for scrapbooking, and instead try to make use of my other craft materials in my projects. Recently I took a position at my local scrapbook store, and love that I can share my love for scrapbooking with others in my day to day work.
I have been married 19 yrs to a sweet and supportive hubby who is willing to cook and clean while I create; we have two great kids – and I love to scrap about faith, family and life! I never plan to “catch up” – and love to scrap the precious moments we are blessed with. My style is totally eclectic - which means it varies with the mood of the photos. I have been very blessed in having my layouts and projects published in many of the scrapbook and paper crafting magazines in the past several years. My goal in sharing my work is to inspire others, and help them find the creative inner spirit that we all have.

Design Teams serve six-month terms: February - July and August - January. Each call will be announced on our blog and on Pubcalls. Team members create six to eight projects per month for the gallery as well as develop blog challenges. We welcome members from the U.S. and abroad.
